GROW GOOD RELATIONSHIPS

MAIN TEXT: Proverbs 13:20 – Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Proverbs 18:24 – One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Building good relationship strengthens you and increases you in every area of your life. Go for the best and work on the good relationships to keep them through sacrifice and patience.

Throughout Scripture we are told to honor one another. Have you been honored or respected by others? If so, you know what this concept means. It must occur between partners in a significant relationship. Basically, respect is recognizing and acknowledging the other person’s worth or value. Significantly, this requires that you honor and respect yourself; for if you don’t respect yourself how can you give respect to someone else?

You’ve got to put on “a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other” (Colossians 3:12b-13). The reason you should do this is because God has graciously chosen and loved you. He has a glorious plan for you but you have to patiently walk to it.

THERE’S GREATER SUCCESS WHEN YOU HAVE SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIPS

Prayer: Holy Spirit, work on my wrong attitudes and mold me to be the right person so that I can attract the best of relationships that I need in Jesus name. Amen
