GOD CANNOT LIE
MAIN TEXT: Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
Romans 3:4 – God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”
Man speaks and then tries to bring it to pass. But when God speaks, He has concluded it before He ever spoke it. God is not going to do what He has said, He actually says what He has done. IT IS DONE – BELIEVE IT.
You may have entrusted your love and affection to those who were very deceitful – they spoke one way, but their hearts were against you. There’s no wound more painful than the wound of betrayal by someone you loved, respected, reached out to, laid down your life for, or entrusted as a dear friend. And if we’re honest, there’ve probably been times when we’ve been guilty of lying to others too. The Good News is that “God is not a man that He should lie.
God cannot lie, therefore, we have hope that the all good and faithful God is at work in our lives. To take advantage of this, we must believe Him as we live by faith. God will never lie – but if we do not believe His words, they will not be of any benefit to us.
MAN IS NOT GOD AND GOD IS NOT A MAN
PRAYER: In Jesus’ name, things are working out for my unusual miracles. I believe that every promises of God in my life are coming to pass. Amen
