I WILL NOT LOSE YOUR JOY
MAIN TEXT: Isaiah 60:15 – Whereas thou hast BEEN forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
Isaiah 61:7 – For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Joy is a feeling of elation that comes from the depth of man, but has it’s source in God. It is not based on what is happening around a man, but based on what is happening within the man.Happiness is based on what is happening around a man.
My prayer is that our joy shall not turn sour and shall never diminish in Jesus name. Here is an important truth that many of God’s people have missed – the Lord wants us to be full of His joy. Joy depends upon our confidence. Paul says – ‘Rejoice IN THE LORD.’ Rejoice in who God is and His love for you. The confidence in God secures our joy in the Lord.
Although there’s the testing of our joy as Christians but God will not allow “Joy – stealers” to prevail over you. Hope and faith in the Lord are the two pillars that keep God’s joy in us.
CONSTANTLY MEDITATE ON GOD’S WORD AND NOT ON SATAN’S WORDS
PRAYER: In Jesus’ name, I will not lose my joy. Grant me great joy over the challenges of my life now. Amen
