CHRIST IS NOT IN THE GRAVE
MAIN TEXT: Acts 13:29-30 When they had carried out all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the cross and laid Him in a tomb. 30 “But God raised Him from the dead
Romans 8:11 – “If the Spirit of the God who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised the Messiah Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit who lives in you”.
God is the God of the living. And the not the God of the Dead. Because Christ defeated death and the grave. (Mk.12:18-27) Christ rose victorious on the third day in fulfillment of the holy Scriptures. (I Cor.15:1-6) The sin debt has been paid. His resurrection proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, Jesus is the Christ the vanquisher of death, the giver of the life, the remover of the curse, the bringer of every blessing.
Now that you know the truth that Jesus has risen from the dead, how will you respond to it? Will you respond by turning to Jesus in repentance, trusting Him to save you from sin and eternal death? Dear friends, the Lord Jesus may be calling you to come to Him right now. Please, do not delay any longer. He says to you, “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2) Will you come to Jesus now and be saved?
OH! HAPPY DAY TO BE FOUND IN THE RESURRECTED CHRIST THE KING
PRAYER: Let the Blessings in the risen Christ come to me. May that resurrection power work in my life now in Jesus name Amen.
