BE FAITHFUL ALWAYS
MAIN TEXT:Proverbs 3:3-4 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Matthew 6:33 – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
To be faithful means to be reliable, trustworthy, dependable, consistent, and especially faithful to God and His teachings. The Bible reminds us that such faithfulness is at times uncommon: “Many a man proclaims his own loyalty, but who can find a trustworthy man?” (Proverbs 20:6). That is, it is not easy to find someone who can really be relied upon. Many people talk about how loyal or committed they are, but actual faithfulness is far rarer.
We are to obey our employers in the Lord. Means we should obey them, as long as their wishes don’t contradict God’s word, (Ephesians 6:5). Don’t steal from your employer or deceive him. We should work for our employers as if we are working for God, (Ephesians 6:8).
BEING FAITHFUL BRINGS BLESSINGS TO US
PRAYER: In Jesus’ name I need the your grace to remain faithful in all ways. Deliver me from the spirit of unfaithfulness that easily overpower me. Amen
