MAIN TEXT: Lamentations 3:22-23 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Psalm 77:11-12 I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.
God’s faithfulness is consistent but we often need to remind ourselves during times of uncertainty and turmoil. Each day brings new challenges, tasks, and situations that consume our attention.Can you remember the last time God showed His faithfulness to you? What promises has God fulfilled in your life? Thank Him now.
When we are in the hustle and bustle of life, it is easy to forget how God has kept us, provided for us and sustained us previously. When you need encouragement for your present situation, just look back and remember God’s faithfulness. We can’t allow our immediate woes to drown out God’s faithfulness. Celebrate the ways that God has blessed you in the past and be assured that God’s faithfulness will never waver!
Don’t allow the momentary challenge to steal your joy and the heart of gratitude to God. Celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness today.
