LIFE IS ABOUT FAITH
MAIN TEXT: LUKE 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
PHILIPPIANS 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Faith in God means that I trust God to do whatever He said He would, not whatever I want Him to. The initiative is always His. It is said that Faith is a response to God’s initiative. God has blessed us with great power to do exploits.
You need to feed your faith on God’s Word. But you also need to exercise your faith, because if you don’t, your faith muscles will be flabby. They won’t be able to do much spiritually when it comes to moving mountains in your life. Faith in action is the growing faith that does the wonders.
As believers, our desire to grow in faith should be accompanied by actions that match this desire. We can grow through applying God’s word, regular studying God’s Word, serving God faithfully, associate with those christians who are growing in faith, and pray fervently. Are you faced with realities of failures in life? It’s your faith that will cause you to excel.
BELIEVE IN GOD’S POWER AND BELIEVE IN GOD’S WORK ON YOU
PRAYER: LORD JESUS CHRIST, INCREASE MY FAITH TO SUCCEED AND DO THE IMPOSSIBLE THROUGH YOU. AMEN
