GOD WILL ANSWER YOU
MAIN TEXT: 1 John 5:14-15 “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him”.
Psalm 34:17—“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.”
Thank God before He even answers your unanswered prayers. The point of prayer is to believe in what you are asking for before the Lord God even answers you. You have enough belief that it is not only God’s Will for your life, but that He is capable of all things. Don’t tell Him how He has to answer your prayer. Jeremiah 29:12 “Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you”.
Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). If you have prayed specifically for something and God has granted it to you, then you can be assured that it is His will. Nothing happens without God allowing it to happen. There are prayers that are followed up with vows, just like Hannah did, see what Job said, Job 22:27 “You will pray to Him, and He will hear you; And you will pay your vows”.
Today, you are challenged to go to Him with your needs first—go to Him before you go to your friends, parents, or your pastor. Before you put the post out on social media, go to God in prayer. Go to God in prayer, knowing He will answer. Even in times of crisis, every day can be a good day when you trust the promises of God. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you”.
GOD WILL SURPRISE YOU SOONEST
PRAYER: Holy Spirit, give me the wisdom and power for a successful prayer life. Oh Lord, answer me that I will testify of my answered prayers in Jesus’ name, Amen.
