APPLY WINNING FAITH
MAIN TEXT: Mark: 11:24
“Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”.
John 11:40 – “ ….only, believe and thou shall see the glory of God”.
The only way people can get what they want from God is by exercising faith in God. It is one thing to pray, it is another thing to actually believe that God has done what we have asked for, that is a winning faith. The concept of faith is backed by evidence. “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place …, obeyed and he went not knowing wither he went” (Hebrew 11:8).
Faith is simply accepting the verdict of God in all situations. Wining faith means “Yes Lord”. We must learn to identify the will of God as we exercise our faith. Faith prepares the fertile ground in which God grows His seeds and trees. If we are poor believers, there may not be breakthroughs and we cannot please the giver of breakthroughs, “For without faith, it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
We need winning faith to experience the supernatural. Jesus Christ is alive in us and faith is a mutual act between God and man.
FAITH IS SO VITAL THAT GOD INTENDS NOBODY TO BE FAITHLESS.
Prayer: Increase my faith today, Lord I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
