DO NOT WORRY
MAIN TEXT MATTHEW 6:25
Therefore I say unto you, take no thoughts for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on, is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment.
PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.
Worrying is another way of doubting God, and indirectly telling him that he is not able to keep us in our times of need and troubles. At times we feel that God is too slow in answering our prayers concerning a particular issue and as a result we begin to doubt, worry and murmur. God is not happy with us whenever we worry or doubt, he wants us to look unto him and trust him totally. We should be able to have faith in him that he is able to do all things.
Worrying is a spirit, it is a tool that the devil uses to set against believers so that we can sin against God. Jesus has made an open invitation for all in Matt11:28-29, therefore God is expecting our total dependence to come unto him no matter the problem. When things go wrong in our lives, he also makes it right and at times God allows us to pass through trials just to test our faithfulness and steadfastness in him. This test helps us to grow more in the Lord and he wants us to learn something from them.
We should not look at our problems but look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.
WORRYING DOES NOT CHANGE SITUATION BUT GOD DOES.
PRAYER POINT: O Lord, forgive me for worrying and not casting all my problems on you. Supply all my needs my God.
