GOD’S VOICE TO MAN’S CONSCIENCE
Main Text: Revelation 3:2 – Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God”
Revelation 3:3 – “Remember therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come life a thief and you will not know at what time I will come to you”.
God has continued to speak to man in diverse ways concerning His expectation from man, by the gift of salvation offered through His begotten Son, Jesus Christ concerning his mercies and faithfulness, goodness and love. God has spoken through prophets, judges, kings, ordinary people, apostles, teaches and so on and He speaks on daily basis till now therefore you are without excuse.
The conscience is that part of us that tells us to choose the right actions. Everyone has conscience. We can decide to kill it or keep it alive. God’s voice can come to us as encouragement, directive, reassurance, warning or appeal. It is His prerogative to choose in which manner to release His words to us depending the occasion. And we have the duty to obey Him.
This calls for inward examination of our walk with God. Are we getting it right, what area of our lives should we check with the scriptures in today’s study? Whatever that is lacking, God says wake up. You must arise today, repent and begin to obey what you have received and heard from your Pastor, teacher or brother and it shall be well with you in the end.
GET SERIOUS WITH GOD TODAY, AND BEGIN TO LIVE RIGHT.
