The Power of Love

The Power of Love

Main Text: 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. Fear has to do with punishment and whosoever fears has not been perfected in love”.

1 John 3:16 – By this we know love that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

Christian life is a synonymous with love. Every Christian must possess and exercise the power of love. This is most crucial in our Christian life because it determines both your earthly and eternal benefits. Jesus manifested the power of love by accepting to die the most shameful death on the cross for mankind. And He left a commandment that we should love even as He has shown us.

Your life as a Christian is summed up in one commandment “Love your neighbor as yourself”. This demands that you do good to your neighbor and never do anything to hurt him/her. Though some people are unlovable but this is where love exercises its magnificent power. The kind of love we practice should be the type that will take the gospel to our enemies.(See Mathew 5:44).

Live a life of not seeing anyone as your enemy even if they declare you as one. Genuine love is not conditional. For your Destiny fulfillment you should triumph by love.

PERFECT LOVE CASTS AWAY FEAR

Prayer Point– Let the perfect love of Christ Jesus take over me and let me manifest this love now in Jesus name Amen.
