Preach to Yourself

Preach to Yourself

Main Text: Luke 15:18 – I will arise and go to my father and I will say unto
him Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee.

Proverbs 20:13 – He that walketh with wise men shall be wise, but a
companion of foots shall be destroyed.

The prodigal or lost son in his own time came back to his senses after all that he squandered and did to please himself, he discovered that he was going through the wrong way, and he had no other option than to speak or preach to himself to go back to his father in acknowledgement of his evil deeds in ignorance.

No one preached to him but we do hear the word on daily basis not only in the
church but also in the radio stations, television, tracts and other means of
communications yet we refuse to please God completely. Proverb says, he that walks with wise men shall certainly be wise, whom do you walk with? Ask
yourself, make a reflection and decide by yourself the way to follow.

There is a say that the best advice is the one someone gives to himself – you may receive so many of them from people yet no one will be useful to you. Think about your life and make a U turn now that you are still alive, and if you do so there will be a new change in your life- you still have the opportunity before it is too late.

DON.T JUST MAKE A LIFE BUT MAKE A LIVING

PRAYER – Let the spirit of repentance overwhelm my soul. God, I want to serve you all the days of my life. Jesus I am for you as from today forever and ever.
