KEEP GROWING

KEEP GROWING

Main Text: Hebrew 6:1 – Therefore, let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God.

Luke 17:5 – The Apostles said to the Lord “increase our faith.”

The Almighty and all sufficient God want us to walk with Him along life.s highway, and He has a divine roadmap to prepare you for the journey. Along the way, it will not be all rosy but we must trust and obey God in order to reach the desired destination. As Christians, we should have spiritual hunger and taste for more of God. Lack of spiritual appetite is dangerous and can cause harm to us. The plan of God for us is completeness and maturity. He desires a regular and continuous growth. There are irregular kind of growth whereby we continuously fall and rise over a long period of time. The same manner our age is progressively increasing, so should our faith increase. The apostles asked for a spiritual growth because they were tired of staying at a particular level for too long.

Spiritual challenges were increasing, but their faith could no longer do the mighty works and they cried to God for an increase. We cannot remain babies forever; it is an error to remain at the level of new converts after so many years you came to Jesus Christ. Although some people are old in the church, and church doctrines, but they are still new concerning understanding of God and walking with God. Grow in the knowledge of Christ, in faith, love, prayers, holiness and all round. Do not concentrate in few areas and remain a spiritual dwarf in other spiritual activities and manifestations.

GROW PROGRESSIVELY TO OVERCOME ALWAYS.

Prayer Point: Oh lord! Increase my faith and remove obstacles to spiritual growth from my life, In Jesus name.
