DON.T HATE YOURSELF

DON.T HATE YOURSELF

Main Text: Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (KJV)

Matthew 27:5 – And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. (KJV)

Hatred for self is a dangerous weapon the enemy uses to deprive us from enjoying the promises of God for our lives. It makes you to give up on yourself and God. It could even lead to your early grave. One of the factors that could cause one to develop hatred for self is the feeling of self guilt over sin committed. The bible said that, Judas Iscariot committed suicide by hanging himself because of self guilt of the sin he committed and he could not stand the shame. Though he admitted his sin, he did not confess unto God for forgiveness nor did he forgive himself.

In other words, it is not enough to acknowledge that you have sinned sinned against God at any given time but He expects you to confess it unto Him to receive forgiveness and you forgiving yourself (not hating yourself). It is the will of God to see us love ourselves as He loved us, be free from condemnation
of sin (Romans 8:1-2), enjoy good things and be the best he has destined us to be. You are wonderfully made by God and for the fact that you are facing a difficult situation is not there to destroy you but to shape you and to give you a testimony.

GOD LOVES YOU

Prayer Point: I reject the spirit of self depression and hatred from having its root in my life.
