REJOICE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
Main Text: Jeremiah 9:24- But let him that glorieth glory in this that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving kindness, judgment and righteousness in the earth: for these things I delight, sayeth the Lord.
1 John 2:29- if ye know that he is righteous ye know that everyone that doeth righteousness is born of Him.
In this sinful world ending soon in death and judgment, how foolish for men to glory in their knowledge, wealth, strength, riches or in any thing which leaves them under the dominion of sin and wrath of God especially when God is not placed first. This means that whatever your status, achievement, merits or
awards in this life without the knowledge and understanding of God, it amounts to nothing.
Righteousness means being on the right stand with God. Having the consciousness in whatever we do that pleases God is a necessity of life. Whatever it is you do that does not give glory to God amounts to nothing, you are like a tree without life. John15:1-2 says “I am the true vine and my father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit He taketh away and every branch that beareth fruit He purgeth it, that it may bring more fruit”.
A life without a root in Christ is meaningless. Never glory in things that are physical but glory in spiritual achievement because whatever success made in spiritual realm produces a great success in physical. Beloved the most important factor is your knowledge and understanding of the things of God as you walk with God.
DO NOT BE SHY TO LIVE A LIFE THAT PLEASES GOD RATHER BOAST IN IT
