The Strength in Unity
Main Text: Acts 4:34-35 „There were no needy person among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses old them brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles. feet and it was distributed to anyone as they had need.
Ephesians 4:3- „Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace”
There is no meaningful progress where there is disunity. The hallmark of success of any partnership enterprise is unity which results in team playing. Unity is not a function of position but an attitude of going along with other people.s opinions even when there is no direct benefit to you, so that set goals and objectives can be reached. Unity in the family attracts prosperity and generates hope and strength amongst persons.
Unity is about the state of mind that enables us to do the needful in the company of others. Where unity exists, it.s hard to incur loss or defeat because everyone is ready to lend support and help in any situation. In the house of God, it opens doors for increase. It drives away unhealthy competitions and rivalry and promotes togetherness & peace among believers.
God commands the church to be in unity. Where there is unity, you.ll never find
rancor, strife or showmanship there. Defeat for one is defeat to all and victory for one is victory for all. It fetus understanding and support for one another. Unity has a way of attracting peace, love and harmony which guarantees quick answers to prayers and spontaneous solutions to problems.
