Devil is a Liar
Main Text: John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desire of your father you want to do. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it”.
2 Corinthians 2:11 “Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices”
The devil’s greatest lie today is that we shall believe him instead of God. In the Garden of Eden, he persuaded Adam and Eve to believe him instead of God and that led to their death. From where we read in John 8:44, the word of God called him the Father of all liars. For you to overcome his lies, you should know whom you are dealing with. He is an evil genius and among the created being, he has no equal in the universe; Yet he is an unbelievable liar. He did not only deceive Adam & Eve, rather he was the first liar that deceived one- third of the Heaven’s angels Rev. 12:4.
Therefore, do not be fooled son of man. He does not come with red horn and masquerade costume; but because lying is his nature, he will not tell you. “Listen! What I am about to tempt you to do now is lie, and will lead you down the path of destruction”. NO!. The truth is that Satan will stop at nothing, he will leave no weapon in his demonic arsenal idle on his mission to rob you of your kingdom heritage. Finally, see our side text again, you should not be “ignorant of his devices lest he takes advantage of you”
