I WILL LAUGH AGAIN

I Will Laugh Again

Main Text: 1 Peter 5:10 “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stabilish, strengthen, settle you”.

Psalm 30:5 “For His grace anger but a moment, in His favour is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”

The fact that a faithful Christian passes through difficult times does not mean that God has forsaken him or her. In today’s devotional, we shall look at the life of Ruth (See Ruth 1:167-22 and 4:13-17). The story life of Ruth is a common story which teaches us that God’s purpose for the life of His people is to connect us to something far greater than ourselves. The Bible records that there came a time when Ruth and Naomi’s life felt a long, dark trouble time at a moment, but they eventually came to the end of their “tunnel of darkness”.

When Ruth met Boaz, a godly man, He later married Ruth and took care of both and Noami. Things changed for better and there was a fresh laughter in their lives. Our main text reveals that God allows us to suffer for a while and then decorates and blesses our lives. Perhaps, like Ruth and Noami, you may have had series of painful memories in the past this year. Cheer up, all those memories are backward steps that moves you forward. Your morning has come now.(see our inside text). Just as Ruth and Noami; you will laugh again.

CHEER UP, YOUR BEST IS YET TO COME!
