DESTINED TO EXCEL
MAIN TEXT: GENESIS 1: 28 And God blessed them, and god said unto them. Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (AKJV)
DEUTERONOMY 28: 13 And the Lord shall make you the head: and not the tail: and thou shall above only, and thou shall not be beneath: … (AKJV)
In case you did not know, is not too sure or have forgotten, I want to remind you that you are destined to excel. Say Amen! How do I know this? I am sure of this because God made you in his image and likeness; He created everything on earth and put you in charge of them all. Knowing that the devil will not be very happy that you are in charge, God made his grace available for you. To excel therefore, you must have vision. Your vision/dream has to big, precise, set clearly defined goals, detailed plans and time frame for achieving your vision. You must find out what your talent is and undergo training in that direction to develop your talent which is your natural ability which to a large extent determines what you can become. This will make you skillful. You have to be covenant minded to excel.
You must understand who you are in Christ Jesus; that you have a superior covenant position and promise. You can only know this through the word of God. You must reject the way the world does their things just as Daniel rejected the king’s meal. Have divine guidance. Allow god to direct your ways He knows the purpose for creating you, how to achieve that purpose, the instruments to use and how to connect you to them. Learn to depend on God. You must be upright and honest which makes room for a trusted, treasured and lasting relationship with those you deal with. Perseverance is another tool you need to excel. You must determine never to give up on God no matter the challenges, temptations, trials or conspiracies which may come from your family members, friends, colleagues etc.
ALIGN YOURSELF TO THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, YOU MUST EXCEL
PRAYER: Oh God, let your Spirit take control of my life so that I can excel.
