THE KING IS BORN
MAIN TEXT: MATTHEW 2:2-Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
REV. 19: 16-And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
A king is the ruler of a kingdom. He is the ruler that determines what happens in the domain where he rules. Jesus is the born king whose reign has no end. His birth in the land of Bethlehem of Judea provoked the then king Herod who saw his birth as a threat to his reign.
So, he did all he could to kill Him by commanding that children from 2 years and below be killed. Herod could not prevail over Jesus as He was a King destined by God to bring to the earth, God’s kingdom of peace, righteousness and Joy.
Jesus is the King of Kings whose birth and reign bring deliverance to the captives, healing to the sick, sight to the blind, good news to the poor and liberty to the oppressed. The question today is, has Jesus been born as King in your heart or do you still have the devil ruling and oppressing your life as he so pleases.
Jesus seeks to be born in every human heart, even yours. If you will open the door of your heart and let him in as your new born King, He will take over the territory of your life, break the shackles of bondage and oppressions of the devil and establish God’s kingdom of eternal life, peace and prosperity in your life.
When Jesus becomes king in your life, He makes you a king unto God (Rev1:6).You receive the power and authority to become a son of the king(John 1:12).You will be raised up to sit in heavenly places with Christ and you will begin to reign in life far above principalities and powers, over demons, over sicknesses and over all the oppressions of darkness(Eph 2:6).
