JANUARY 23 WEDNESDAY
Topic: Behold! He comes.
Text:Matthew: 25:6 (KJV) “And at midnight there was a cry made, behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him”.
Second text: John 16:8 (KJV) – And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.
Jesus Christ our Lord, and Saviour is the Bridegroom, and He is coming very soon. The signs around us attest to the fact that the end is here with us. The scriptures Matthew 24:1-13 and Timothy 3:1-8 admonishes that we are the bride of Christ our saviour, and must keep our garments spotless because He is coming for a church without spots and wrinkles.
The question now is how ready or prepared are you for His coming? Will you be found faithful? Or will you be told: depart from me, you workers of iniquity, I know not? – Matthew 7: 22 – 23. God forbid The times we are in calls for sober reflections and the need to put our houses in order in preparation for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
You must search your life today and ask God to remove every sin from your life. Ask the God to help you stand firm in Him.
My friend, how prepared are you to meet with the Lord?.
