JANUARY 30 WEDNESDAY
Topic: Choose Gratitude
1 Thessalonian 5:18 (KJV) “In everything give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you”
Second Text: “Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving” – Colossians 4:2 (KJV).
Gratitude is the quality of being thankful, readiness to show appreciation for a favour done. Beloved, we must be thankful to God for receiving the promise of His kingdom with reverence. It is an exercise in faith to give thanks every day.
Beloved, when you choose gratitude, God will make known His salvation and will show up in your life. When you choose gratitude, you will always sing to the Lord a new song because of what the Lord will do for you, especially when you are giving thanks with a grateful heart.
Child of God, there will be days that start well and end well, with obvious signs of God’s hand of blessing your life. Also, there are days that you will be weighed down and you are thrown into despair as a result of life challenges.
How do you choose gratitude in both of those days?: By focusing on the truth that you are part of the unshakable kingdom; that no matter what life throws at you, you will emerge victorious.
Beloved, be grateful to God for showing you mercy and kindness in all that you do each day. In whatsoever circumstance that you find yourself today, give thanks.
Choose gratitude today, though it will not be easy at first but imbibe it as a habit; as you continue in it, it will lead you to supernatural peace that will sustain you through any day.
Gratitude brings supernatural peace in life.
