FEBRUARY 11 MONDAY
Topic: TRUTH SAVES AND PRESERVES
Main text: Psalm 145:18 – The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.
John 3:21 – But he that doeth truth cometh to the light that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God
The Lord is near to those that call upon Him is not the real gospel rather He is near to those that call upon Him in truth. Does it mean we can call upon Him in lies?
It means that those who are hypocrites before God are fooling themselves because God cannot be mocked. He sees and knows in secrets.
Truth talks about sincerity, faithfulness and obedience to God’s word, behaviour and in the heart. God searches our hearts. The truth seeker and doer, the bible says He comes to the light and there will be the manifestation of his good works. Truth truly saves and preserves the person that lives by the truth.
Jesus Christ is the truth and he that embraces Christ cannot be overtaken by darkness and falsehood cannot prevail over him. It is in truth that the power to deliver and preserve lies.
In our world today, so many people follow issues and things because they believe that those things work for them but hear this, “it works does not make it right”.
What God hates is anything that is adulterated and fights the truth. At the face of challenges, truth will always conquer.
LOVERS OF TRUTH AND TRUTH KEEPERS ARE THOSE WHO ARE PRECIOUS IN GOD’S EYE.
