PUT ON THE GARMENT OF JOY

FEBRUARY 12 TUESDAY

Topic: PUT ON THE GARMENT OF JOY

Main Text: Isaiah 52:9 – Break forth into joy, sing together ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

Psalm 9:1 – I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.

To put on the garment of God is a deliberate action that only you can decide. We must make up our minds to be joyful in good and bad times.

Circumstances of life should not stripe our garment of joy from us. In all the days of your life, do every good thing to make your heart full of merry. A joyful heart is a gift of life and peace.

There is the reason why the writer Isaiah 52:9 used the word “breakforth”, a man that lacks joy is held captive by the chains and bars of grief and anger. If this is your story, beloved it is time to breakforth and give praises to the Lord Almighty because He has just restored your ruined and shattered life.

Do not remain in the prison of pains, regrets and despair but move into the mood of joy because it is in the periods of joy that miracles happen.

Rejoice for your redeemer, restorer and comforter is by your side. Praise God with all your cheerful heart and let there be no reservations in your heart against God or any man.

Begin now to burn every garment of grief and sorrow. Take away painful memories from your heart through praying to the Holy Spirit daily.

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR HEART LACK PRAISES TO GOD ANYTIME

Prayer Point: Clothe me with joy garments all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen.
