PRAISES ON MY LIPS

FEBRUARY 18 MONDAY

Topic: PRAISE ON MY LIPS

Main text: Psalm 34:1 – I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Hebrews 13:15 – Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

David was a man who understood the benefits of praise to God. This made him render lots of psalms to the Lord. The bible let’s to understand that God inhabits in the praises of His people.

When God inhabits in your praise, every battle of life that you may be experiencing will be settled by Him. You would not have to struggle through life to survive rather God envelops you with His grace so that everything becomes easier for you.

God directed Jehoshaphat to praise Him on the battleground rather than engaging in the battle physically and God showed up mightily in their midst and took over the battle. When Paul and Silas were entrapped in the prison, the engaged the power of praise over the situation they found themselves and God intervened and opened the prison gate.

Beloved, I want to encourage you today to never allow praise to be far from your lips. When we praise God continually, blessings will be falling on us. Our needs are met quickly. God wants from us lips of praise: Lips that speak and sing praises to Him at all times.

We can see from the examples above that when you engage praise over your life situation, God responds mightily because He lives in our praises. He demands continual praises from our lips which is the fruit of our lips.

WHEN OUR PRAISES GO UP, BLESSINGS COME DOWN.

Prayer Point: Father, I thank you for all you have done for me. Receive my continual praises unto you in Jesus name.
