Topic: PRAY LIKE JESUS CHRIST
Main Text: Luke 18:1 – Then He spoke a parable to them that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.
1 Chronicles 16:11 – Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore!
Prayer is an important aspect of the Christian walk. The bible tells us that we should always stand in the place of prayer and not be weary. Jesus Christ made it a habit to always talk to God in prayer. We as Christians, bearing Jesus as role model in our own walk ought to follow in His footsteps. Our battle is a spiritual one and not physical so in order to be victorious over those battles, you need to pray as Jesus did.
He gave the world a perfect example of walking with God and talking to God. No man can walk with God who does not talk to him and hear (obey) his word. He was a man of prayer while He lived among men.
He taught his disciples to pray in his great Sermon on the Mount. How did Jesus pray? Jesus prayed with thanksgiving in His heart, He prayed that the will of God will be done, He prayed with confidence and humility. Jesus prayed always. When we make prayer a habit it makes life easy.
Directions are got when we go to God in prayer. He reveals the deep things of the kingdom to those that spend time with Him. The place of prayer is where we renew and revive our spirit.
PRAY AS JESUS DID TO BE VICTORIOUS OVER EVERY BATTLE AGAINST YOU.
Prayer Point: Oh God, strengthen my prayer life. Help me to pray more. Nudge me to pray when I‟m doing mindless tasks. Help me to truly know who I am in Christ, to understand that you always hear me, to know Your Word so I can pray it.
