FEBRUARY 20 WEDNESDAY
Topic: Water your mind daily
Main Text: Jeremiah 15:16 – When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.
Colossians 3:16 – Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
As Christians, it is expected of us to water our minds daily with the word of God. When you make it a daily activity to water your mind daily with His word, the rich indwelling of God’s word will greatly affect your Christian life. It will fill your heart with grace.
The Bible admonishes us to allow the word of God dwell in us richly. Dwelling in His word helps you to create your day; commanding your blessings to locate you and removing all manner of sorrow from your heart.
From our main text, the psalmist tells us that God’s word brings joy to the heart so when we feed on the word of God; there will be no space for sorrow to breed.
The word of God is living and operative and receiving such word daily in our life is essential for our growth in God’s life.
When you feed on this word, it enlightens your spirit because God’s word brings light to illuminate the darkness of our heart. It also nourishes us to live the Christian life; it quenches our thirst because it is the water of life.
The word of God makes us strong in our spirit and also in our soul. By such a strengthening in our spirit and soul, we will also be healthy in our body.
IT IS IMPERATIVE YOU DWELL ON HIS WORD DAILY FOR YOUR BLESSINGS.
