EVIL IS DEFEATED
MAIN TEXT: PSALM 21:11—”Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed.”
Isaiah 54:17—”no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication[a] from me, declares the Lord.”
Psalm 21:11 speaks about the power and sovereignty of God over the wicked schemes and evil plots of our enemies. Though enemies may devise wicked plans against us, God remains in control. He sees all and knows all. Nothing catches Him by surprise. His authority supersedes any human agenda, and He can thwart the plans of those who seek to harm us.
Some people go as far as visiting graves to invoke evil spirits against others, and they practice necromancy, but I come to you this day with the name of Jesus Christ, any evil that has troubled your life ends today. Surely, they shall gather, but there’s another certainty, which says, “they will scatter for your sake.”
Even in the face of adversity and opposition, choose to trust in His faithfulness, believing that He will work all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). The power of God is giving you the deliverance you need now, and no evil will triumph over you anymore. Receive your liberty and God will lift you where you have been forsaken.
CHAINS OF DELAY AND EVIL ARE BROKEN
PRAYER: I rebuke every evil attacking my prosperity. Let the strongholds of wickedness challenging my glory be destroyed today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
