OUR THOUGHT MAKE OR MAR US 2

FEBRUARY 24 SUNDAY

Topic: OUR THOUGHT MAKE OR MAR US 2

Main Text: Psalm 94:19 (KJV) – “In the multitude of my anxious thought within me your comforts cheer and delight my soul”.

Second text: Jeremiah 29:11 – For the thought that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Yesterday we saw how we can control what we think about by thinking about what we are thinking about. It is very crucial to direct our thoughts, since our thoughts are powerful and have creative ability.

If our thoughts are going to affect what we become (and they will), then thinking right positive thoughts should be a high priority in our Christian lives.

In the main text above we see that our comfort and delight is tied to our thoughts Satan will always try to fill our mind with wrong/negative thoughts. We are required to be very smart not to allow Satan to poison our mind, attitudes and ultimately our lives.

Knowing that our mind is the battlefield and Satan will always want to control our mind, we should resist him as whatever we hold in our mind will always tend to occur in our life. If we continue to believe as we have always believed we would continue to get what we’ve always gotten.

Today, I encourage you to evaluate your mind/thought if you will get different results in your life and work. No wonder Zig Ziglar said: “what you picture in your mind, your mind will accomplish for you’.

When you change the picture in your, you will automatically change your performance.

Hold no obstacles in your imaginations. Resist low or negative thinking, self-pity, self-comparison and the like. Be determined to control your thought in order to succeed.

Beloved, the importance of choosing and controlling our thought would lead us to life everlasting.

Prayer Point: Lord God Almighty, baptize my mind with your thought that would lead me to everlasting life Amen.
