PLACED HERE FOR A PURPOSE

Main text: John 18:37

“In fact for this reason, I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth”.

Proverbs 19:21 – Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

God has a plan for our lives that is complete in every detail. The sovereign God of the universe leaves nothing to chance. The life of Jesus-His-Son- is a prime example, His coming as a babe in Bethlehem, His earthly ministry, His death and His resurrection all took place according to God’s purpose or will.

To show that Jesus was determined to fulfill his Father’s will, He set His face steadfastly to go to Jerusalem (Luke 9:51). His (Jesus) death was no turn of fate rather it was a fulfillment of God’s plan. He had come to give His life as a ransom for the sins of the world.

Strictly speaking, it is true also that the life of every Christian has been designed by the heavenly father to fulfill a specific purpose. That’s, why C.H Spurgeon said “I will never have it that God created any man especially any Christian man, to be a blank, and to be a nothing. He made you for an end. Find out what that end is, find out your niche and fill it”.

Brethren always learn to view the events of your life from the divine perspective. This knowledge will cause us to look for ways to serve Him and glorify Him in everything we do. We have a sense of destiny because we know that God has placed us where we are for a purpose.

GOD HAS A PLAN FOR OUR LIVES

Prayer: Open my eyes to know the purpose for which you have called me.
