INVEST IN GOOD RELATIONSHIP
Main text: Proverbs 13:20 (KJV) – “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed”
Proverbs 22:24-25 (KJV) – “Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shall not go: lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul”.
As a Christian, God expects you to build godly relationship that brings glory to His name. Thrive to always build a symbiotic relationship whereby both parties involved benefit or learn from each other. Do not be a selfish person looking out for where to siphon talents, finances, spiritual gift, knowledge and so on rather from your friend rather, be a giver of the above named to your friend also.
When you invest in good relationship, success is guaranteed. Before entering into any form of relationship, ensure that you are guided by the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Holy Spirit must be involved as a Christian (Romans 8:14) because He will lead you to the right people God has destined for your life.
Seek relationships that are fulfilling in every way. Knowing that whoever you are in a relationship with, influences you in one way or the other therefore, have God at the centre of every relationship you engage – the company you keep make you or mare you. Here are examples of good relationships you may study further for more insight: David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 18,19 and 20), Ruth and Naomi (Ruth1:1-22), Jesus and Lazarus (John 11).
