MIND WRONG CIRCLES
MAIN TEXT: PROVERB 1:10
―My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.
Micah 7:5 ―Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide, keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
We live in an adulterous generation, a generation where crime rates and vices increase at alarming rate daily, a generation where evil is rewarded and good is disregarded, a generation where being nice is a crime too. Most often peer pressure is always the leading factor to the increasing crime rate by daily statistics, aside from broken homes.
These days, many innocent children of God have been led astray by fake prophets and false doctrines as well as negatively influencing people. These young ones who cannot withstand the force of peer pressure are led astray by bad peer influence.
It is therefore necessary to beware of such friends. It is very necessary that every child should be deeply rooted in God‘s word and have the fear of God firmly in him. Hence before such a child makes his choice of friends, he should seek the face of God just as Jesus did when He was picking His disciples. Fake friends are everywhere these days, they just want to subtract from you, drag your name into mud and leave you empty with nothing.
These friends come with mask on their faces as it is very difficult to discern the true friends from the fake ones in the beginning. However with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can discern the true friends from the fake ones, the ones who come to edify us and the ones who come to destroy us. It is necessary that we maintain godly relationship with God as that is our only guarantee.
ASK FOR THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN CHOOSING FRIENDS
