SPEAK WELL OF OTHERS

May Day 15 Wednesday

SPEAK WELL OF OTHERS

MAIN TEXT: EPHESIANS 4:25

―Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor:for we are members one of another.

Proverbs 19:5-A false witness will not go unfinished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free.

Beloved, we are instructed from today‘s teaching to speak well of others. Are you slandering your neighbor or friend? God is the judge; it is not our duty to condemn that person that came around us. There could be a divine plan for such a person to be around us.

We have the first responsibility to begin praying for the person that has a bad character, and then we can meet him and begin counseling. It may not handle the matter immediately but constantly working with the Holy Spirit in the life of that person will bring the transformation.

There are people that derive joy in bearing false witness against the innocent because of material gain but the scripture says that such people will not go unpunished. One of the punishments could be that they will lack a witness or a defender in their own challenging cases.

Let us endeavour to discipline our mind and tongues to tell the truth only. A liar is Satan‘s evangelist and the reward is death. People say, it is better to lie and go free but the authoritative word of God says that whoever pours out lies will not go free. Think and act wisely.

CHARACTER ASSASSINATION IS A SIN BOTH TO HUMANITY AND DIVINITY.

Prayer Point- Holy Spirit discipline my mind and tongue. Give me your nature and let my mouth give you glory alone.
