IS CHRISTIANITY FOR THE WHITES ALONE?

May Day 14 Tuesday

IS CHRISTIANITY FOR THE WHITES ALONE?

MAIN TEXT: MATTHEW 28:19-20

―Go ye therefore and into the world and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son of the Holy Ghost; I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

John 1:12: But as many as received him to them gave He power to become Sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

This question has been a controversial issue among us especially traditional rulers and culture holders. They claim that Christianity is a white man‘s religion and hence should be disregarded especially because it was their way of slaving blacks.

However, our texts have clearly shown us that Jesus Christ came for the whole world, to reconcile us unto God. Never was it mentioned in the Bible where Jesus specified the race to worship Him or the tribe He wants to be with in Heaven. Christianity is for the entire world, everyone needs to know Christ, have a good and functioning relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus came for sinners. It is important to note that He never specified the race or tribe of sinners He came for. During His stay on earth, He travelled to various reachable regions of the world around Him, and before He left, He told His disciples to make sure the good news reaches every part of the earth.

He didn‘t just give them the command to obey; He gave them the grace to do it, the patience to tolerate the persecution that followed with glad hearts and the most expensive gift who is the Holy Spirit.

I urge everybody of all races to embrace this lifestyle and aim to be like Christ.
