DON’T SELL YOUR INTEGRITY

May Day 21 Tuesday

DON’T SELL YOUR INTEGRITY

MAIN TEXT – PSALM 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

Proverbs 28:18 – Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.

Integrity means the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles or moral uprightness. It is a personal choice for one to hold onto quality moral standards. Beloved, having integrity means doing right things in a reliable way.

It is good to always show ourselves in all respect to be models of good works and in our teaching, show integrity and dignity. God expects uprightness and sincerity in everything that we do. We should hold fast our integrity and resist the temptation of selling the truth. So many people are trading on what is true and enriching themselves with a life that God hates.

We should not be easily moved to the right or left because of fame or money. As Christians, we must be mindful of keeping those relationships that put our life in a mess. They want you to always cover up their sin with another sin just to keep the relationship. Remember, that the righteousness of the blameless, keeps his own way straight but the wicked falls by his own wickedness.

God looks for honesty in business, family, job and church. When there is the purpose of heart to walk for God’s truth, the spirit of God can be counted upon to give direction and guidance.

A MAN OF INTEGRITY STORES UP TREASURES FOR HIS GENERATION

PRAYER: Oh God, help me to live an upright life in Jesus name, Amen.
