IMMEASURABLE JOY
MAIN TEXT: PSALM 16:11
―Thou will shew me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasure for evermore‖.
2 Corinthians 7:4
… I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation‖.
There is a joy Christians have that does not come from this world. That is the type of joy that we shall talk about in today’s devotional. Not every ―church goer‖ experiences this kind of joy, but it is reserved only for those that have intimate relationship with Jesus.
It comes from the depth of our redemption. Paul is an extraordinary man because of how unbelievably and durable his joy was when things were not going well. For instance, we can see his confession from our inside text, ―I am overflowing with joy in all our entire affliction‖ (2 Corinthians 7:4).
Wow! This is shocking. I mean this is the joy that is expected of you as walk to the top this year. On your journey to higher grounds, pressures of life may become too much on you to bear, yet this joy that wells from within is capable of sustaining you!
It can carry you all through mountains of sorrow and trials. The truth about immeasurable joy, is that, it comes only from knowing Jesus. Do you desire this joy? How is your relationship with Him? He is the only one to make you defy all circumstances of pain, and still laugh louder.
ABIDE IN THE JOY OF THE LORD

O Lord, no matter what happens; I receive the grace of prevailing joy in Jesus name.
