June Day 8 Saturday
DON’T FORGET HEAVEN
MAIN TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 3:4
―I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heaven wards in Christ Jesus‖.
2 Peter 3:13 – But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness:
Heaven is God’s abode and where we will spend eternity after all. It exists and very real. Live with the consciousness of heaven. You are created to be part of God’s kingdom. It is a place of rest from toils and pains, sorrows and disappointments. It is a place of rest for the weary and freedom for the captive. Are you getting the picture?
Don’t be misled to believe like the foolish that anyone who has earthly pleasure is already in heaven. It is the deception of the century. The bible asks what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and lose his soul?
We don’t celebrate Christmas and Easter seasons for nothing. These seasons remind us that Jesus came, went to the cross to make way for us, went back to heaven from where He is coming back to take us. There is a place called heaven where triumphant believers are going to spend eternity in. Your place in heaven is secured by how well you lived on earth.
HEAVEN IS OPEN TO THOSE WHO ARE READY TO ENTER IT
Prayer Point: My Father, my Father, help me oh Lord to run this race and finish well and gain the prize in Jesus name Amen.BY BISHOP NGOZI DURUEKE (HE REIGNS CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL) To send your testimony, write us: firstname.lastname@example.org.
