I WILL REAP IN JOY
Main Text: Psalm 126:5 – Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy
Psalm 126:6 – He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.
Before you reap, you must have planted a seed. What you reap is determined by what you planted. In some cases too, can sow without reaping anything at all. This can occur when our seeds are corrupted or our land is not fertile. Good seeds sown on infertile land cannot develop well and so is bad seed sown on fertile land.
The scripture tells us that whatever we sow, we shall reap.(Gal 5:7). Having this in mind, don’t sow ‘whatever’ but consciously identify and evaluate your seeds with the word of God before you sow. It is our desire to reap in joy. This means that the reward for our good works will benefit us by strengthening and enriching us.
Reaping in joy means receiving rewards that gladden our hearts which provoke praises to God.
Seeds do not only imply money but our attitudes towards others, words that we speak either to correct or to encourage.
Extending kind gestures to others. When you sow, sow towards winning souls for the Lord, sow to honour and praise God. These acts make you reap in joy. Don’t sow to please you sinful nature because when you do that, you reap destruction. When you sow to please the spirit, you reap eternal life.
Your eternal life consist of good health, provision for your daily needs and extra to bless others with. We are expected to sow right so that we can reap in joy and your satisfaction will be guaranteed.
SOWING GOOD SEEDS GUARANTEES JOY EVERLASTING
Prayer Request: Lord my seeds shall bear good blessings and I shall reap them in joy, in Jesus name.
