LIVING IN SELF DECEIT- LYING

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil,and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him .when he speaketh a lie, he speaketh his own, for he is a liar and father of it.

Proverb 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD but they that deal truly are his delight.

It is an abomination when a believer speaks lies. The scripture made it clear who is the father of deceit and lies. You can’t say you belong to God and still walk in deceit and lies. Check yourself well who do you truly belong to? God hate lies and deceit.

There is no place in the Bible where God ever blesses a man that lied, it is always a curse because each time you lie and walk in deceit,you represent the devil. The bible said in Matthew, “let your yes be yes and your no be no, and anything aside that is from the evil one”.

God is a God of truth and righteousness. If truly you belong to him lies and deceit shouldn’t be found in you. God said in his word “if you are neither hot nor cold, He will spew you out.” Lying is dangerous. It is a powerful force that can deprive a man from ever getting anything from God.

In the book of Acts,a couple lied about the amount they sold their land to Peter. The Holy Spirit killed them both. Peter said they were not afraid to lie before the Holy Ghost. You might not die physically but might die spiritually each time you lie and note that the spiritual controls the physical.

Lying is the nature of the devil and anyone who lies belongs to him.

SATAN IS THE FATHER OF ALL LIES. WHEN YOU LIE, YOU SPEAK HIS LANGUAGE.

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus,grant me the grace to speak the truth at all times.
