MANIFEST THE GOD IN YOU
Main Text: Colossians 3:4 – When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory
Galatians 2:20 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith of the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me
Christian living is Christ living in us. At salvation, every believer receives the life of God, and that certainly involves God’s essence. This essence of God is what we receive by means of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in every believer.
The fruit of the Spirit are characteristics that make us like God. As we look at the context of the scriptures, we see that God the son is in The Father and in John 8:12, He revealed Himself as the ‘light of the world’.
As Christ lives in us and has revealed himself as the light, so therefore He has commanded us to let our light shine out to the world (Phil 2:12-14). The true Christian life is a call to manifest God in our lives, and that is the only we can express what we carry within us to people around us. We must also learn to spend more time with Jesus if the world will see His nature and power through our lives.
Let us by this study, decide to reflect on the kind of fruits growing in us as believers. Are you manifesting the God in you?
