HOOK UP TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
Main text: JOHN 14:26 (KJV) – But the comforter who is the Holy Spirit Ghost, whom the father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things. And bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
LUKE 11:13 (KJV) – If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask.
Who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is part of The Trinity (3 –in-one God). In The Trinity, we have God the Father, Son and the Spirit. When you receive Jesus into your lives as your Lord and personal saviour, you should pray to God to release the Holy Spirit into your life.
Without the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer, Christian walk becomes a struggle (Ephesians 1:13). The Holy Spirit is the great comforter and teacher who guide us through our Christian journey.
He reminds us our vow and commitment to God. The Holy Spirit is the active part in the union of the three (Trinity) because He moves in greater diverse dimensions as we saw in Acts 2 – when He sat on the heads of the disciples as cloven fire.
There are many benefits derived when we have the Holy Spirit in our life.
As a believer of Jesus Christ, you are encouraged today to connect to the Holy Spirit of God. You need Him to fulfil your divine mandate in this earth. If it were important to have him in your life, Christ would not have mentioned it.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth and therefore, will guide us all truth and also reveal the future to us (John 16:13).
