SATISFY ME LORD

SATISFY ME LORD

Main text: ISAIAH 58:11 – And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones, and thou shall be like watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose water fail not.

PSALM 107:9 – For he satisfieth the longing soul, filled the hungry soul with goodness.

We are going to look at another dimension of God’s blessings as Christians over lives. This kind goes beyond being blessed of the Lord in meagre matters. We are talking about the blessing as pronounced in Philippians 4:19 – For God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

To say you are means that all your needs has been answered. When your ways please the Lord, He will abound you with abundant showers of blessing – Matthew 6:33. In the latter, you have to seek God and His kingdom which includes commitment to the activities of the body of God (The Church), and then He will provide all your needs in fullness as seen from our main text.

When we walk with God in righteousness, our blessing shall never be withheld. The bible calls the devil cunning and several times, many Christians have become victims of his cunning nature. He goes about deceiving the elect with lies concerning their blessing.

These includes, providing a shortcut to abundant blessing which will on the long run, bring pain. But the blessing of the Lord maketh rich and adds no sorrow with it. – Psalm 10.22. Don’t be a victim to the enemy, God is closer than we know and He wants to satisfy us. Isaiah 59:1-2 – ‘Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that He will not hear’.

‘SEEK GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HE SHALL RELEASE THIS SATISFYING BLESSING ON YOU’
