BE A BLESSING TO PEOPLE
Main Text: Romans 12:13 – Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality (kjv).
2 Corinthians 9:6 – But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully. (kjv).
A blessing is the invoking of God’s favour upon a person and good wishes. Beloved, God freely gives us all things as His children, we have his divine favour. We are blessed to bless people. Galatians 6:2 (kjv) says; “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ”. So from our words and actions should flow blessings that encourages and builds up people.
Child of God, loving people is the greatest of all blessing. Out of our hearts of love will then flow specific practical blessings. We must understand that this love flows from the love that God extends to us. Also, God generally and generously blesses us so that we can bless or be a blessing to people.
Beloved, God calls us to be a blessing to people because He has lavishly blessed us and if we do as God has commanded us, we will be enriched in every way, to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.
When we come to realize just how “blessed” we are already in Christ Jesus, we will seek out opportunities to channel this blessings to people.

Prayer: Father, give me the grace to be a blessing to my generation in Jesus name.
