WALKING IN GOD’S WILL

WALKING IN GOD’S WILL

Main Text: Isaiah 55:8-9 “ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways, saith the Lord. “ For as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 29:11 “ For I know the thought I think towards you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end.

God is a better master planner. Even before we were born, He called us by name (Jeremiah 1:5). He knows our end even from the beginning. He knows our future and destiny before we get started. His will for us is better than we know or imagined.

Sometimes, we get to those moments were we have closed doors, not a single ray of hope; disappointment and rejection. In the midst of all those disappointment is an appointment, admist those rejections are opportunities. Sometimes, God puts us in such situations as to test our faith and those situations are actually training grounds to prepare us for bigger and better opportunities which must certainly come.

God wants us to learn how to handle those little challenges so that we know how to handle the bigger ones.
Again, from experience, I’ve learned that sometimes, we ask God for something that isn’t ours, something that isn’t meant for us. Out of desperation, we begin to compare ourselves, forgetting that we’re on different lanes with different destines at the end.

We don’t want to trust God for the better plan He has for us just because we haven’t seen it yet. And when we don’t get the ones we ask for, even if it’s against God’s will, we lose our faith, confidence and trust and begin to backslide.

LET’S LEARN TO TRUST THE PROCESS HE IS TAKING US THROUGH. HE IS A BETTER MASTER PLANNER.

Prayer: Dear Lord, teach me to trust you always and to walk in your will at all times.
