LIVE FOR GOD’S PLEASURE

Main Text: Proverbs 16:7
When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Psalm 147:11- The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.

Beloved, it is my desire for us to read and memorize the main scriptural text for today’s study. Proverbs 16:7- when a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with Him. It is only the position and life of Christ Jesus that pleases God. There was a testimony about Jesus Christ by His Father. He said, this is my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

To be able to please God, it calls for becoming a son of God. This is the nature of God’s sons. The one that does what the Father says and loves is a son. He that has the same exact nature and resemblance of the Father is a son. So when your ways please God, He makes your enemies to be at peace with you. He gives you those enemies to rule or subdue.

The delight of the Lord is upon anybody that fear or reverence him. Let us not be distracted with earthly offices or ministerial gifts that we lose our godliness. The Christian who fears the Lord receives spiritual protection and divine authority to reign in all circumstance. Do not allow any man in or outside the church to make you lose this holy fear towards God and His kingdom.

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM IS IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD

Prayer : Let the Spirit of God revive and restore me. O Lord give me a right spirit to please you. Amen.
