GOD’S WORD MAKES ALIVE

GOD’S WORD MAKES ALIVE
Main Text: Ezekiel 37:4 (NKJV) – Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord’.

Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) – For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The word of God is the live and power of God. Jesus Christ taught us that the word of God we speak is the spirit of God and therefore carries life in it – John 6:63b. So many people take the word of God for granted by thinking the bible is just a mare scribble. NO! Our second text reminds us of the efficacy in the word of God.

The word of God in us has the ability to pierce through and cause alive any dead thing in the soul, spirit and body. By virtue of this truth, when you stand and command the devil, he bows; sickness disappears and even the elements obey the word of God.
In Psalm 3, God warns us of the kind of gathering we as Christians should be found – so that when you stand and degree a thing, sin doesn’t hinder the word from proceeding with power and grace.

In the bible, Christ said, you shall ask (speak by the word of God) anything in my name and I shall do it. Our main text in Ezekiel 37, God encouraged Prophet Ezekiel to speak live into dead bones. The latter implies that God is always waiting for us to prophesy life. When last did you speak life into something? Today is another opportunity to speak the word of God and cause that situation to change for the better.

DECREE A THING AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS

Prayer: Father, anoint my tongue today to declare your word with power and grace in Jesus name. Amen
