GRACE IN THE PLACE OF SERVICE

Grace in the place of Service

Main Text: 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

“And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness, most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me”.

Ephesians 1:7 – In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

The Grace of God is available and sufficient to enable us carry out our God-given assignments. We are not expected to be overwhelmed by the task ahead of us. God’s grace and mercy is always with us. We therefore need to acknowledge his power and presence to enable us do exploits.

Apostle Paul complained of an infirmity which he saw as an obstacle in his life, and ministry, but look at what God told him in the text above. God’s grace is ever sufficient especially when we are in line with the will of God, and carrying out God-given tasks or assignments. We need not fear of the challenges we experience for his grace is sufficient. All we need to do is to depend upon the grace of God to see us through.

DEPEND WHOLLY ON GOD’S GRACE AS YOU SERVE GOD.

Prayer:

Oh! God, I depend on your grace to serve you, help me to please you today in Jesus Name.
