PRAY YOURSELF OUT

PRAY YOURSELF OUT

MAIN TEXT: 1THESSALONIANS 5:17

Pray without ceasing. (AKJV)

COLOSSIANS 4:2

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving. (AKJV)

Prayer is a sensible conversation between man and divinity. To pray means one communing with God. To come out of that situation, you must pray, telling God about the situation. For your prayer to receive God’s attention, you must do the right things and be holy because God said that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination before him. To receive answers to your prayer, you must trust and have faith in God.

Learn to pray well. State your case before God. Give him reasons why the condition should be changed. The question is, what have you done for God, for him to behold and remove the situation? Hezekiah’ssituation, he prayed reminding God of all he (Hezekiah) had done for him and that he (Hezekiah) has not enjoyed the fruit of his labour and God reasoned with him and God added 15 more years to him.

Jesus Christ our master, when faced with a difficult and trying situation of his flesh wanting him to abandon the redemption assignment, he prayed to the extent that his sweat was as thick as blood and he prayed. Even when it seems there is delay to the answer of your prayer, do not give up praying, and believe that God is able to see you through.

CONSTANT PRAYER AND THANKSGIVING MOVES THE HAND OF GOD

PRAYER: Oh God, hear and answer my prayers and give me grace to commune with you always. Amen!
