MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE
MAIN TEXT- JOHN 10:4b …he goeth before them and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice’.
John 10:14- I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.
Naturally, every living creature identifies with the signal or voice of its kind and therefore moves together. The topic above, the sheep refers to the believers and the voice of Jesus Christ is that voice that Christians should be able to easily pick. The bible made it clear that all human being are God’s creatures but only the believers of Christ are the sons of God and Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God.
Jesus Christ came into the world to save mankind – Matthew 18:11. Many did not receive this divine call from Jesus Christ but to those who received him, he gave them power to become sons of God- John 1:12. Those that do not hear His voice are not his sheep, Self righteousness has the ability to cause our ear to be deaf to the call of the Master, Jesus Christ.
Are you among the sheep? Do you really know Jesus Christ? How often do you attend bible study classes or devout quality time to study and allow the word of God do a good work in you? This is one sure way of hearing directly from Jesus Christ. Continue to share God’s word, you are s true disciple and the truth you know will make you free- John 8:31-32
